What You Need to Know About the BUSU Elections

The BUSU elections are held every academic year to determine a fit candidate who will be elected for certain electoral positions. These elections are run through a democratic process in which a candidate is voted in if they attain the most votes from the undergraduate student body. All candidates get a fair chance at campaigning under certain by-laws to ensure accurate representation for the next academic year. The positions available for the election in February are BUSU’s President, Vice President Student Services, Vice President Finance Administration, Vice President External Affairs, and Senate (one and a half year seat).
