As Brock students, we are very fortunate to attend a university within the UNESCO biosphere. In appreciation of this, Student Life & Community Experience is hosting an Instagram contest. Upload a photo of our beautiful university campus with the hashtag #BrockUisBeautiful for a chance to win 1 of 3 awesome prizes. Contest closes November 10.

2. February Alternative Reading Week 2015
Looking into traveling this February Reading Week? Brock University hosts a number of opportunities that allow students to travel internationally to earn volunteer hours and real life experience. Trips included this year are South Carolina and El Salvador. Spots are still open but will fill fast. Visit for more information and the registration form.


Do you need some motivation to get into your pool? Take part in the 25/50/75 Km swim challenge – keep track of your lengths, qualify for prizes at every milestone! Just come to the pool! Ask any lifeguard how to track your progress.

Fall/Winter Intramurals – Registration begins on Nov. 6 for the next group of Intramurals – register individually, or as a team. Activities include Women’s Basketball, Men’s Basketball, Coed Basketball, Coed Indoor Soccer, Coed 4’s Volleyball (Tuesday mornings), Coed Indoor Ultimate Frisbee, Coed European Handball, Singles Squash, Coed Water Volleyball, EXTREME Coed Intramurals. Dons’ Ball tickets are now on sale! Join Willy Wonka in his Chocolate Factory for the annual Dons’ Ball on January 16th. Tickets are being sold in both DeCew and Lowenberger Dining Halls from 5-7pm Tuesday to Thursday. Tickets are $45 for Dinner/Dance and $25 for Dance Only, transportation is provided and cash or flex dollars are accepted.
