Hey Badgers,

It’s November, which means that exams are around the corner and midterm tests are approaching as well. At a time like this, it’s really easy to become overwhelmed and stressed. Today, I want to introduce you all to a new app called I.M.Well that you can download onto your Smart Phone, and have a bunch of resources right at your finger tips!

Live Chatting:

During a live chat, you can speak with an individual about various topics such as your academics, finances, and depression and anxiety. It’s nice to know that you can get support when you need it!

Healthy Reminders:

Everyone needs healthy reminders every now and then. Whether it be a reminder to take a breath or a reminder to make sure you eat something to make it through the long day. With the “Healthy Reminders” function, you can set a reminder to occur as frequently as you’d like, and you’ll get a notification. You can pick a reminder from a list or personalize your day and add your own.

“Find Help Now”:

Sometimes, things get tough and it may seem like there is no one in your corner. If you need immediate help, you can select the thoughts that you are having and I.M.Well will give you adequate resources to accommodate your situation and your feelings.

Get Info:

Often times, students find themselves struggling with various forms of mental health and circumstances, but aren’t sure where they can go to find resources they need – or any resources at all. I.M.Well groups a number of resources that make information accessible. Whether it be for mental health or legal counselling, I.M.Well has got you covered.

Self-Care is incredibly important, and it’s time we start treating both mental health and self-care as something to work on continuously. The app can be downloaded in the App Store and onto your smart phone. Tell your friends about the app and remember that you don’t have to suffer in silence. I.M.Well is listening!
