Hey everyone! My name is Liv (or Olivia) and I am currently a fourth year Con Ed/ History major with an English minor. I grew up in the exciting town of Welland (only a splendid (says she sarcastically) 15 min drive from Brock) but have recently moved to Niagara on the Lake.
Being a local to the St. Catharine’s area has given me a different experience during my time at Brock, but the school has nonetheless provided me with amazing memories during my undergrad. Apart from my passion for history, I am a huge foodie. Greek, Indian, Japanese, you name it, I love it! Another passion of mine is my love of sailing. During the warm summer months, you can find me on my boat, soaking up the sun, reading a book and taking advantage of the warm summer winds in my sails.
Oh and did I mention I’m also a huge TV junkie?! That’s right. Binge watching series is the name of the game. Whether it’s Downton Abbey, Suits or my current pursuit Outlander (shh! don’t spoil it!) I love watching series that intrigue my interests. After all, those who watch multiple series live a thousand lives right?! (or was that readers?)
I am thoroughly excited to be a part of this new blog for the school. It is a fantastic initiative that will not only help Brock students connect with each other but will also make “#brockuprobs” a shared reality! I can’t wait to see what this year has to offer, and the discussions that it may bring!
