While in University, it becomes easy to feel lost in the crowd and perhaps as if all that represents you at your school is the number on your student card. If you have ever felt this way, lost in the numbers, Brock may not necessarily feel like home for you. Feeling at home when at school is a necessity if you want to maximize your student experience. The best way to do this is to get involved on campus. University is much more fun when you “buy in” !
Besides making Brock feel like home, there are many reasons to get involved. It is a great way to meet lots of new people and make new friends. Putting yourself out there can expose you to many opportunities and lead you to amazing relationships you may have never made by just standing back and watching. It can also be your chance to make a difference on campus or even reach out to other students.
Getting involved also does not mean you have to take on a big role or run for president. A great way to start could just be by coming out to the events Brock puts on or dressing in red and white and coming to support Brock athletics. Brock has earned the rep of having the #1 best fans in Canada, you can contribute to this by coming out to support and having fun while doing it. Not to mention that the athletes really appreciate all the love and support their fellow students show.
