With a current “cold warning” in effect in the region, we all need something to look forward to. Just thinking about the sun, shorts and good music should help with the winter blues. There have been many great concerts announced in the “Toronto” region with even a new festival!!

Here is glimpse of what is in store with the music scene!

When first determining a concert to go to you must decide what genre you are  interested in. With being so close to the downtown core, there is so much diversity in the concerts availability and the talent that come!


Boots and Hearts (August 6 – 9, 2015) 

4 days of the biggest country starts just north of the city in Barrie, with Brad Paisley, Eric Church and Florida Georgia Line as headliners. Camping, beers, friends, and country music, what could be better!

Molson Canadian Amphitheatre Mega Ticket (June 6 – September 17)

Not looking for a festival but want to see your favourite acts? 1 ticket gets you 5 concerts all summer long. Including Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, and Rascal Flats.

Electronic Dance Music

Digital Dreams (June 27 and 28, 2015)

As the largest EDM festival in Canada, it offers party goers a sophisticated festival experience. Headliners announced include Amrin Van Buuren and Calrox & Friends.

Veld (August 1 and 2, 2015) 

Every year this is a major “go to” concert for many university students and has yet to disappoint! Headliners include Deadmau5 and Hardwell.

Alternative Rock and Indie

Way Home (June 24 – 26, 2015)

*NEW FESTIVAL ALERT* recently Live Nation announced a new music festival coming to the Toronto area! Headliners include Sam Smith, Kendrick Lamar and Alt-J.

Canadian Music Week (May 1 – 10, 2015) 

If you are like me you support local and Canadian talent. This year we are fortunate to have many different talented acts all in one place for 10 days. Many iconic venues will be in use so why not check out a concert or 2!!
